All prospective students join our 8 week Beginner's course to get all the basics of sword handling and safety. HEMA is for everyone and it's our goal to help you find your place while studying historical swordsmanship. Whether you dive into sparring, study, or scholarship, we are here to support you on your journey! Class spaces are limited!!! Please contact us to reserve a spot.

Mondays
Beginner's: 7:00 to 8:15 pm
Int/Adv: 7:00 to 9:30 pm
Saturdays
Beginner's: 10:30 am- 11:45 am
Intermediate and Advanced: 10:30 am to 12:30 pm
Fridays
Rotating programming; 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Please view Community Calendar for more details.

We provide much of the basic equipment needed to begin studying; Students should come to class dressed for physical activity with clean gym shoes and nonrestrictive clothing. A personal water bottle is recommended but not required (fountain on site).
HEMA is a contact martial art and therefore many aspects require safety gear. Much of this gear is made for adult- shaped persons. We ask that single participants be 18 or older to begin studying HEMA; Students as young as 16 can study with Parental or Guardian permission. Students under the age of 16 must participate with a Parent or Guardian and are subject to activity restrictions based on safety gear.
